On behalf of my Mother, and Sister, it is with great sadness that I share with you the news of the loss of my beloved father, Leonard “Len” Freed.

To much of the South Shore Len was one half of The Business Center of Marshfield. To my Mother he was a loving husband. To my Sister Michelle and I he was a great father and role model. He adored his grandsons, Ryan, Joseph and Max; nothing brought him more joy.

It was twenty five years ago that my Dad and his long time friend and business partner Barry, purchased Marshfield Office Supply. Over time MOSCOP evolved and The Business Center of Marshfield became a place for many local residents, small business owners and contractors to create, print, assemble and ship their daily projects. My Dad took great pride in being fair, accurate and timely.

Len Freed was not a very tall man but he was filled with passion and the toughest guy I have ever known.  He was stubborn as hell, but would always give in.  He was kind and loving to everyone he met and formed lasting friendships with many of the customers he got to know over the years.

I know he will be missed.

As a family, we wish to thank our friends and customers for always keeping him in your thoughts and asking how he was doing. Please know that it meant a lot and always put him in a good spirit to know you were thinking of him.

Sincerely,

David Freed and family

Arrangements and burial information will be posted at a later time.
